Q: If I ordered the box in late Nov, does the subscription renew each month on that same day or do I need to select something before or ships. I'm confused because it renewed early Jan...Asked by Kirsten A., January 2022
Hello Kirsten! TheraBox subscriptions auto-renew every 8th or 9th of the month, and it follows the same subscription term (monthly, 3-month, 6-month, 12-month). The cut-off date to order is the 24th of each month, as we ship between the 24-29th of each month. If the purchase was made after the cut-off, for example, after November 24th, your box was included in the December shipment then the renewal will happen in January. Hope this information helped! I havent ordered yet, but I believe you can order it as a gift and just put your own email as the contact.
If you go to "The Happy Shoppe" tab on the My Therabox website, there is an option to select a "Mystery Box." If you select that, they will pick a random past box to send you.
I just ordered one "As a gift" and they give you the option of sending a message when it ships, right away, or at a designated time. And you can choose renewal or not.
You can do that on their official website only, not on cratejoy

Absolutely, Jamie! To purchase a box that does not auto-renew, simply select your preferred plan (Month to Month, 3-Month, 6-Month, 12-Month) and choose the "This is a gift" option at check-out. Gift subscriptions automatically expire at the end of the subscription period and do not auto-renew therefore, there is no need to cancel.
If you wish to receive a box sooner, you may purchase a one-time box without subscribing at the Happy Shoppe, our one-time gift shop. Items from Happy Shoppe ship immediately (typically we ship within 1-3 business days) after processing, and you do not have to wait until the regular shipping for the subscription boxes.

I have been receiving this subscription as a gift, and have been enjoying most of the boxes. This box has a cute earring set, but one of the earrings is defective (see attached picture). I emailed to report the problem and ask what I need to do to exchange them. Their procedures say I should get a response from the curator in 48 hours; it has been a week, and I have heard nothing. I like the content, but customer service is lacking.
