Alexa, play “The Imperial March.”
Amazon is kicking off May the 4th celebrations early this year with three brand new Echo Dot stands modeled after three iconic Star Wars helmets: Darth Vader, the Mandalorian, and a Stormtrooper.
Starting today, you can pre-order all three stands bundled with a new 5th generation Echo Dot (charcoal for Vader and Mando, and glacier white with the Stormtrooper).
If you already own a 4th-or-5th gen Echo Dot, you’re not being left out of the Star Wars party because you can buy the stand independently for $40 and install it without purchasing a new smart speaker.
All three specialty stands have eyes that will light up blue whenever you call Alexa’s name. The Alexa-enabled Echo Dot has all kinds of features to make your life easier, from setting alarms and timers to getting instant updates on the weather. You can also play music, podcasts, and audiobooks from Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify; plus, you can use the Echo Dot as a Bluetooth speaker.
