Q: We haven’t received our June box - how do I track this down? Asked by Bano M., July 2022
Hi, your package was returned by Canada customs and we just received the returned package last week. We need to investigate the reason and send you an update soon. Thanks!
Q: How long does it take to receive the first box?Asked by Stephanie R., April 2022
Hi, we will ship the first box in 2 business days. Thanks.
Q: We gave this to a grandson last year for Christmas and are he loves it and looks forward to it each month. Do the kits continue past the one year or do they repeat if we go another year? Asked by Lorrie W., November 2021
Hi, thanks for reaching out and considering X Workbox for Christmas gift! We track each kit sent to our little customers so it won't repeat previous boxes as long as they keep the same address. If address is changed, please let us know. Hope it helps. Thanks!
Q: My 10 yr old son currently gets a KiwiCo tinker crate and enjoys it, but it’s too easy for him. Is this crate comparable or more challenging?Asked by Kyle W., August 2021
Hi! Each box has 2-3 challenging projects that connect to specific Science and Engineering topics, such as electric motor, sensors, fluid power, gears, pulley systems etc. For more project details, you can check out our website. Thanks!
Boo. They never shipped anything.
Hi, we have sent you many messsages. We do not ship to Canada at this moment due to customs issues. So we cancelled your subscription and issued full refund. Thanks!
The most recent box was not made in a way that our son was able to build it. The parts did not fit and it was frustrating. The previous ones were good. What happened was that the holes and parts did not match up to ensure that it works. I know it happens sometimes with quality control but worth noting.
I wish i could leave more stars. This box was the best money I have ever spent!!!! I cant believe Im getting such high quality thought out projects for such a LOW price!!!!!! My 10yr old loves these kits!!!!! I love thats hes learning!!!! Its a win win for me
My niece loved it. It’s really hard to find building projects for girls that are challenging. Wish they made more options for girls.
My 10 year old daughter LOVES it and colors the wooden pieces before she puts it together. It's all so very well made. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
My 9 yo grandkids love building the different kits. The screws are tiny and difficult to work with, even for their father.
My 9 year old had a blast filming himself opening his box and putting all 3 of his robots together. He spent approximately 4 hours total on the projects, then over an hour playing with the robots and racing them across the kitchen.
He did need some help with some of the fidgetier steps but after several failed attempts at subscription boxes for screen free educational fun, I think we finally found the one that will hold his interest.
This box was exactly what we were looking for for our little 6 y/o tinker. The recommended age is over 8, but we took a chance and we’re not disappointed. With quality supplies, easy to follow instructions and a little help from mom or dad, the projects are ones our little boy is very proud of.
My son (7 almost 8), loves the Little Workboxes so far. He has received 2 boxes so far with 5 total projects. We have worked together to make 3 out of the 5 projects and all the projects have kept him intrigued and excited to see his project work. He is also excited that it is something we do together. I bought a 6 month subscription for him for Christmas.
Ordered this little workbox as a Christmas gift for my friend's kids. They were thrilled with those projects included!
Propeller produces lift in a forward direction, a force we refer to as thrust. Its rotary motion through the air creates a difference in air pressure between the front and back surfaces of its blades. This pressure difference pushes the plane forward.
The Money Bank Robot is hungry for money! Just place a coin on the coin tray and - Gulp! - The robot swallows the coin into its mouth! The Money Bank Robot is composed of two series of circuits controlled by a knife switch. The reason why the robot can open and close its mouth is the conductivity property of conductors.
